Photos Prove, Elvis Lives!

The King, Elvis Presley, recently made a surprise visit to Wichita Falls, Texas! He was the hit of the "Cafe Broadway" variety show at the First United Methodist Church. Fans were treated to two songs, "Blue Suede Shoes" and "Love Me."

The Office

I just finished watching the complete first series of The Office , a British comedy series, on DVD. It was pretty funny, sort of a British Office Space in a mock documentary reality TV style. Eventhough I watch a lot of Britcoms, there were some bits that I know went straight over my head. Luckily in the DVD there's a British to American slang dictionary, which is helpful and rather funny in itself.

Now I have to get my hands on a copy of the second series which is from 2003. If I'm lucky they will also have a copy of this at the library (where I got the first one.)
